  • Application Period: Applications accepted from August to May, due by the 15th of each month for approval the following month.
  • Eligible Proposals: Projects, activities, books, equipment, or materials that enhance children's academic lives. Preference is given to proposals serving all students, but individual classroom or grade-level projects are also encouraged. Collaboration is welcome.

  • Funds must be used as specified in the awarded application. Changes require PTO Board approval.
  • Funds cannot be used for field trips, budgeted expenditures, substitute pay, completed projects, or purchased items.
  • Applications should be clear, specific, and detailed, with a maximum request of $500 per grant and $300 for classroom rugs.
  • Each teacher/staff member can receive one grant per year but may submit multiple applications.

Donations making a Difference!

Flexible Seating

24-25

Oakview Kindergarten, 2nd Grade

Red Bank 1st, 2nd Grade

With the support of your generous donations of flexible seating, we can increase focus by freely allowing students to lean, lounge, kneel, rock, wobble, or stand.

Weather Station

24-25

Green-Fields 3rd Grade

We study weather for a good portion of the year in reading and science. This is a beneficial addition to the room where kids can learn about indoor vs. outdoor temperature, humidity, and dew points.

Centers Supplies

24-25

Oakview 1st Grade

A new class set of double sided whiteboards because we use these multiple times daily. I am also requesting 5 chart paper pads if possible because we use this daily for morning message and writing lessons. Play-doh and Magna-Tiles are great tools to have in the classroom.

Calm Down Corner

24-25

Oakview 2nd Grade

Throughout the past few years, we have seen an increasing need to teach emotional self regulation within the classroom. When these big emotions arrive, it is important to have appropriate tools and a safe space for students to go when they need a break.

Reading Chairs

24-25

Oakview 2nd Grade

My co-teacher and I are in need of 1 chair each for our read alouds and small group time. This year we are in a new classroom and are trying to make the best in our new space!

Cricut

24-25

Green-Fields Library

A cricut helps us decorate the library and is available to all teachers. It helps to make our building feel happier with the fun decorations and bulletin boards!

Sensory Items

24-25

Oakview Kindergarten

I have always used sensory items during times in which the kids need to sit and attend. This allows them to focus on my while keeping their hands busy and bottoms in their seats. I also provide them time to play and engage with sensory buckets throughout the day when breaks are needed.

Brain Pop Jr.

24-25

Green-Fields 3rd Grade

I can use Brain Pop Jr. for small group instruction support and student driven learning. Also, to introduce new topics or give clarification on areas of struggle, it would be a great bolster to a whole group lesson. Each lesson includes leveled reviews and enrichment activities.

Non-Fiction Books

24-25

All schools, Library

I am requesting nonfiction books specifically because all of our libraries' nonfiction sections could use some updating. Nonfiction options at the elementary level is important is because it prepares students for later grades, expands vocabulary, aids second language learners, offers solutions to real- world problems, and teaches children about the world.

Classroom Rug

24-25

Red Bank 2nd Grade

Our current rug has been an essential part of our learning environment, but it is now worn out and no longer meets our needs. A new rug would greatly enhance our classroom by providing a comfortable and clean area for our students to engage in group activities and quiet reading.
